Sage Laboratories History

Since 1955, we have devoted our resources to providing customers with a broad spectrum of quality RF and microwave components from DC to 60 GHz. Recognized throughout the industry for quality and reliability, state of the art engineering, timely delivery, and competitive pricing, our products have contributed to the success of many advanced defense and commercial systems. In addition to these systems which involve communications, detection, counter-detection, and navigation, we have designed and manufactured components and subsystems for use in a variety of other applications. These include cancer therapy, broadcast equipment and test instrumentation.

In June of 1998, Sage was acquired by UK based Filtronic plc, a technological leader in filter based products. Sage and Filtronic are similar companies in that they were both founded by
well respected and accomplished engineers who instilled a lasting vision and dedication to technological innovation.

In October 2007, Sage Labs was acquired from Filtronic by Ceralta Technologies. Also under the Ceralta Technologies umbrella is the well known Tru Corporation, Inc.. TRU Corporation has created breakthrough RF and microwave interconnect products for over 50 years. Sophisticated, durable, high performance cables and systems for the most demanding applications – in military, aerospace, telecom, semiconductor, medical and other commercial industries.
